IV Åpning

IV Åpning

“It’s an honor to be here with you tonight. Thank you for having me.

This gathering is a reminder of what’s possible when people come together with a shared purpose.

And it makes me reflect on how each of us, in our own way, contributes to something bigger than ourselves.”

It is because we are gathered here in the wonderful name of Jesus.

Frelsesbønn

XXX Frelsesbønn

Dear Jesus, I call upon Your name.

I know that I am a sinner, and I ask You to save me.

I repent of my sins and choose to follow You.

Thank You that Your blood cleanses me from all sin.

I now receive You as my Lord and Savior.

From this moment on, You are the Lord of my life, and I will follow You.

Thank You that I am now Your child.

Amen.

XX Sermon in Gori – Stronger Preaching Flow

It is truly wonderful to be back here again.

I have been here many times before—and Gori holds a very special place in my heart.

It was here that I attended my very first meeting in Georgia, back in 2001.

And I still carry those memories with me.

We came as a team from Word of Life in Uppsala, Sweden.

And the meetings were held in a factory hall.

At first, only a few people were there… in a big, empty space.

But something began to happen.

Night after night, more people came.

The place began to fill up.

And I remember how the men started building benches—just so people would have somewhere to sit.

Why?

Because people were hungry for God.

People were saved.

People encountered God.

People experienced His power.

And that is why this place means so much to me.

And today… I see you again.

Dear friends.

And it brings me great joy.

Transition – Build Expectation

But we are not only here to remember the past.

We are here to look ahead.

We are here to see God move—again.

We are here because we believe that God is the same today.

And we want people to encounter Him—hallelujah!

Because the most important thing…

is that people are saved…

and receive Jesus as their personal Savior.

Clear Structure (Preacher Style)

Today, I want to speak about —freedom.

Freedom from everything that holds us back—

pain…

burdens…

the past…

the things we have not yet surrendered to Him.

Because Jesus is here.

He is our Healer.

He is our Deliverer.

He is the One who sets us free—

in body…

in soul…

and in spirit.

Salvation – Strong, Preaching Tone

The Bible says that God desires all people to be saved.

Not some—but all.

As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:4:

God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

That means—God wants you saved.

What is salvation?

It is to pass from death… to life.

From darkness… to light.

From the power of Satan… to God.

And to receive eternal life.

Sin – Make It Personal

The Bible says that all have sinned.

Not some. All.

There are no exceptions.

No one can stand before God and say:

“I am good enough.” No!

Sin entered through Adam—

and it spread to all humanity.

But listen— what came through Adam…

Jesus came to break!

Jesus – Build Power

Acts 10:38 says:

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power…

And what did He do?

He went about doing good.

Healing all who were oppressed by the devil.

Because God was with Him.

That is who Jesus is.

He did not come to condemn—

He came to save.

He came to heal.

He came to set people free.

Cross – Emotional Peak

Jesus came from heaven… willingly.

He took on a human body.

He lived among us.

And He walked with a purpose.

Step by step—He was going to the cross.

To Golgotha.

Even when His disciples did not understand…

even when Peter tried to stop Him…

Jesus continued.

Why? Because of love.

In the garden… He prayed.

And then Judas came—with a kiss.

And Jesus did not resist.

He said:

“I could call on angels…” But He didn’t.

He chose the cross.

He chose the suffering.

He chose it—for you.

Because God loves you.

And He wants you to…

Now I want to invite you to receive Jesus.

To receive new life, to become a Christian, and to enter the path that leads to heaven.

As the Bible says:

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”

John 1:12

Amen

Jesus, the deliverer…

A)

1Introduction to Deliverance.

The Crooked Woman.

“And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up. When Jesus saw her, he called her to him and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” He laid his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and glorified God.”

Luke 13:11-13.

She was a daughter of Abraham because she had faith. For such as have faith are the children of Abraham says Jesus.

The woman had ben bound by Satan for 18 years, but Jesus came to destroy satan’s works.

But still she was bound, she had the rights as a daughter of Abraham, Only Jesus could free her at that time. But today we have the name of Jesus. So we can do the same works as Him. It is no longer necessary to be tied down with satans chains or ropes.

B)

Many people today may feel like this woman—who, 18 years earlier, had been a healthy woman, full of love, helping others and being a blessing wherever she went. She may have been a resourceful person, someone who cared for those in need.

But then, one day, something happened in her life. Something came that she did not fully understand. It was a spirit from Satan that bound her. She was not possessed—but she was bound.

And there are many people today who walk around in the same way—bound, without fully understanding what it is. They long to be free. They desire to help others. They want to live their lives in service to God. But it is as if something is holding them back.

It may be things from the past—chains that have wrapped themselves around their soul, their personality. They feel unworthy, ashamed, and not valued. And deep inside, they long for true freedom.

C)

As it is written in the Bible John 8:36:

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

And when this woman was set free, she could once again carry her water jar on her head. She became like the other women again. Now she could also help carry the burdens of others, and she could take care of her own household.

Jesus had set her free.

And from her heart, she could now declare the words of Psalm 121:

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains…”

The one who was helped became a helper.

All the children of God have the right to be set free.

There are many “hunched” people among us, but we don’t see them. They are bent by words spoken, bent by painful experiences, or simply by neglect. Yet they can look happy and pretend that they are doing well. If you feel like that, there is still freedom for you.

The thief comes only to steal and destroy; I have come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly,” says Jesus.

Jesus’ greatest desire for you is that you would become free—completely free. That is why He allowed Himself to be crucified for you.

D

Criticism has crushed the potential of many people. They don’t dare to move forward.

Harsh words have silenced dreams. They don’t dare to begin.

And some carry deep wounds in their souls—rejection, inferiority, and shame—

perhaps formed when they were children, in what should have been a place of safety: the home where they grew up.

The thief comes only to steal and destroy; I have come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly,” says Jesus.

Jesus’ greatest desire for you is that you would become free—completely free. That is why He allowed Himself to be crucified for you.

Others carry burdens from their past.

And these things from their past create a pattern in their lives: “I am a loser.”

It becomes a pattern, a script, a “formula” that seems to shape their future.

But hear this: There is freedom—full and complete freedom from everything that presses you down

and press down your soul.

🌿 Sermon: Life Leaves Its Marks – But God Restores

F

Life leaves its marks. A tree stump tells the story of a tree’s entire life.

The tree rings reveal the conditions of each year—heat and cold, drought or rain.

It is true in nature—and it is true in us as human beings.”

In the same way, each of us carries a story.

Some of us have experienced only good and safe seasons.

Others carry wounds—perhaps from words that were spoken in the beginnin of their life, things that were done, or things that should never have happened.

And the question becomes:

Can we do anything about our past?

No—we cannot change what has happened.

But God can do something about how it affects us.

I

He is able to heal what has been broken

and bring freedom where there was once bondage.

As it is written in the bible in 1 Thessalonians 5:23:

“May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely,

and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless…”

We are created as three parts:

– spirit

– soul

– body

When we receive Jesus, our spirit is made new—we are born again.

But our soul is not born again. Our soul—our thoughts, our will, and our emotions—is not instantly renewed; it needs healing and restoration.

And this is where many of us feel the struggle:

the past can suddenly resurface.

J

For some, this happens in the middle of life—perhaps when things grow quiet,

perhaps when we are no longer distracted by everything around us.

Things like painful memories and past experiences—things that have always been there—can rise to the surface.

But do not be afraid. It does not mean it is too late; it means that God wants to do something.

The Bibelen also says:

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”

But the new creation still has a soul—and the soul needs healing.

And when we are healed, those wounds no longer have to define us.

Your conscience may have been affected.

Perhaps your thoughts accuse you.

Perhaps you carry something you do not fully understand.

K

But God wants to meet you there, too. He desires not only to forgive—but to restore.

So today, I want to remind you:

You are not the sum of what you have been through.

You are not defined by what others have done to you.

You are not trapped in your past.

You are seen by God, You are loved by God.

And He knows what your life is truly meant to be.

Let Jesus be your weaver.

Let Him take hold of the threads of your life.

Let Him begin to restore what has been broken.

Because there is freedom.

There is healing.n

And there is a new beginning.

Amen
